Come and explore IWDG’s research vessel Celtic Mist and learn all about the history of the vessel, as well as the new ways in which Celtic Mist is now surveying our seas. Celtic Mist was donated to the IWDG in 2011, by the family of Ireland’s former Taoiseach, Charles J. Haughey. At 17m, Celtic Mist has become IWDG’s flagship vessel, equipped to accommodate eight people

This year’s theme for Heritage Week is Connections, Routes and Networks. What better way to reconnect to our maritime heritage and routes, whilst learning more about the incredible life we have in Irish waters.
