Overview

We are delighted to share the results of traditional farm building restoration work made possible by The Heritage Council's Traditional Farm Building Grant. Dating from the early 1800's this farm building was literally heading into rubble due to roof leaks, timber rot, and decaying stone work. The restoration work included replacement of rotting timbers, new slate roof, and extensive masonry stonework and water management under the guidance of a historical architect. Our farm is located in a historically rich location nestled in the Black Stairs Mountains, and we welcome you to visit and learn about our restoration project and share what is possible through collaboration. Many thanks to the Heritage Council, Department of Agriculture, and the tradesmen who made this possible.
