We are pleased to share the results of our traditional farm building restoration project undertaken with funding from the Heritage Council's Traditional Farm Building Grant Scheme. This group of buildings, consisting of a Piggery, Henhouse and Stable are particularly fine examples of stone slate work, which sadly had fallen into disrepair. The project consisted of the repair and re-slating of the 3 buildings. The slates came from the nearby stone quarries at Lacken, near Ballycastle.
