This year, Saint-Nectaire offers you a unique immersion in its history and heritage, through a full day of discoveries, visits and surprises. On the program: 10h30 – Departure Tourist Office Discover the thermal heritage of Saint-Nectaire. A guided tour will take you through the emblematic places: Le Mercure, la Chapelle Thermale, le Parc Belloni, le Casino, les villas des docteurs et la villa russe, la Source Rouge, la Buvette thermale... Each stage will reveal a facet of the golden thermal age of the resort, punctuated with musical surprises. Free lunch – Terrace/garden of the Tourist Office A space will be specially arranged to allow participants to share a friendly picnic. 2:30 PM – Meeting at the church square Immerse yourself in a real journey through time at the heart of one of the most beautiful monuments of Auvergnat Romanesque art. Through a historical context, relive the year 1789, pivotal period of the French Revolution. Visitors will discover how the inhabitants and local actors of Saint-Nectaire have lived through this remarkable period, with a new perspective on the figures of the Dubois brothers and their role. Why come? Because the European Heritage Days are not just a series of visits: it is a rare opportunity to experience history, to listen to it, to feel it and to better understand what still shapes the identity of Saint-Nectaire. Practical information: Free visits, open to all, without reservation. Departure from the Tourist Office in the morning, and on the church square in the afternoon.
