💧 Round table and visit – The irrigation canals of Prades
In the form of a round table, exchange with historians, technicians and representatives of the ASA (Authorized Trade Union Association) around the history of the irrigation canals of Prades. The meeting will be followed by a site visit to discover a canal and its associated infrastructure: recs, wash houses, old mills, tanneries, chocolate factories... An essential vernacular heritage to preserve, vital for our department. In addition, don’t miss the exhibition "Eau secours" of CAUE 66, presented during Visa Off 2024. The Council for Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment (CAUE) is an association under the 1901 law, created by the Architecture Act of 3 January 1977, which supports local stakeholders and the general public in a process of architectural and environmental quality.
