THE WEIGHT OF IRON IN EL ABRA

The visit will begin at El Abra-Getxo Sports Port, heading towards the Bizkaia Bridge, the best representation of iron architecture. After an explanation of the monument and the characteristics of its construction, the tour will continue to the mouth of the river – El Abra. Here, the significance of iron in the history, orography, and lifestyle of Bizkaia will be discussed. The visit will conclude at El Abra-Getxo Sports Port, in front of the Punta Begoña Galleries.

EL HIERRO Y SU PESO EN EL ABRA

La visita dará comienzo en el Puerto Deportivo El Abra Getxo, con dirección al Puente Bizkaia, máximo exponente de la arquitectura de hierro. Tras una explicación sobre el monumento y las características de su construcción, se realizará una visita por la desembocadura de la ría – El Abra, donde se explicará la importancia que el hierro ha tenido en la historia, orografía y modos de vida de Bizkaia. La visita finalizará en el Puerto Deportivo El Abra-Getxo, frente a las Galerías Punta Begoña.

BURDINA ETA HORREK ABRAN IZAN DUEN GARRANTZIA

Abra-Getxoko Kirol Portuan hasiko da bisitaldia, eta Burdinazko arkitekturaren adierazgarririk onena den Bizkaia Zubirantz abiatuko gara. Zubiaren beraren eta horren eraikuntzaren ezaugarriei buruzko azalpen baten ondoren, Itsasadarraren bokalea (Abra) bisitatuko da, eta burdinak Bizkaiko historian, orografian eta bizimoduetan izan duen garrantzia izango da hizpide. Bisitaldia AbraGetxoko Kirol Portuan amaituko da, Punta Begoña Galerien aurrean.
