There will be two events running side by side in the Parish Community Centre 1. Schools Local History Projects Exhibition. This exhibition will be hosted in the Main Hall. Pupils from Aughrim, Dangan and Scrabbagh National Schools will host an exhibition of their Local History Projects to include their interpretation of local medieval sites and archaeological artefacts, stories of buildings and geographical features of historical importance and interviews with grandparents and older residents in the community. 2. Photographic Exhibition and Collection This will be staged in the kitchen area where we will be displaying our existing photographic archive while also asking residents to bring along any old photographs that you may have that we can add to our collection. Such photos will be copied and the originals will be promptly returned to the owners. Members of the public are welcome to attend both events There will be no admission fee Refreshments will be served free of charge
