6 September 2025 (10:00 - 16:00) SRUC was established in 2012 through the merger of the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) with Barony, Elmwood and Oatridge Colleges. With a vision to be Scotland’s enterprise university at the heart of our sustainable natural economy, SRUC Craibstone is home to SRUC’s recently launched veterinary medicine programme along with a wide range of other courses covering agriculture, wildlife and conservation management, animal care, veterinary nursing and rural business management. Visit the Ferguson Building which houses the main teaching classrooms, along with the library and other student facilities. There will be a display of information about the current work of SRUC, along with the chance to learn about the history of both Craibstone and the institution.
