Come and discover the exhibition of Brigitte Olivier: Artist photographer for almost 40 years, Brigitte Olivier is from Arcachon in the Gironde. The exhibition Grandeur nature of the castle of Vogüé addresses a theme that is dear to him, nature and landscape. With her camera in hand, Brigitte Olivier likes to explore the Atlantic coast and some singular territories connected by water to the coastline, such as the pays d'Orthe in the Landes, for example. She tries to capture the essence of these territories, regularly seeking new and ever more sensitive readings of this geography that she reveals to us with gentleness and humility. In the course of her research, Brigitte Olivier also tries to reconstruct the dimension of time, notably by creating series, collections and accumulations, with a view to making visible through images, sometimes through words (artist’s books), stories, journeys, life paths, heritage, memory.
