Self-guided visit of the Rosny-Rail Museum
The ROSNY RAIL association was founded in 1997 by the SNCF (Direction Régionale de Paris-Est and the Direction du Transilien ex Services Régionaux Voyageurs Île-de-France), the Musée Français du Chemin de Fer de Mulhouse (now the Cité du Train), the City of Rosny-sous-FranceBois and the Rail Club of Noisy-le-Sec. It aims to manage the museum designed to make the public (especially school students) discover the history of the train, its past, its place in the current economy, but also its future prospects. Rosny Rail also aims to encourage people from Ile-de-France to visit the Cité du Train in Mulhouse, with whom the association has a close relationship, particularly in terms of the museum presentation. This association ensures the maintenance of the museum and its facilities, as well as the acquisition, conservation and enhancement of exhibits and railway equipment belonging to the museum and third parties. Until recent years, the association ROSNY RAIL has ensured all these activities - while having the stubbornness to circulate on a track, unfortunately too short, both a motorized draisine, but also a machine driven by the unique strength of its visitors' arms.
