Located in Place Jean Dours, the Grain Hall, whose construction was decided in 1829 by the mayor Irénée David and completed in 1843 at the site of the Cordeliers garden, symbolizes the economic importance of the city of Auch in the nineteenth century in terms of the grain and wine trade. Its structure is remarkable. On the façade, the caduceus motif of Mercury recalls its primary destination. Restored, and now known as the «Maison de Gascogne», this building can host various cultural and commercial events throughout the year. It offers 1000 m2 on the ground plus a gallery of 330 m2 on the 1st floor, modular according to the uses.
