Presentation of local breeds and parade of teams
With more than a thousand years of history this large stone vessel, listed as a Historical Monument, invites you to travel through time. The castle, in turn a residence for the count, a stronghold, a royal prison and a barracks, has braved time and countless assaults to become a Pyrenean museum. The fortress, which presents a preserved defensive architecture (keep, drawbridge, harrow), also offers from its ramparts a panorama of the city, the Sanctuary and the Pyrenees. At the heart of its walls, a museum allows visitors to discover the history and cultures of the French and Spanish Pyrenees of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Let yourself go to a moment of relaxation in its botanical garden, embellished with sculptures and architectural models.
