Situated at the heart of Clarkston and serving a large and thriving parish, our current Church was built in 1971 to a unique modern design incorporating a fan-shaped roof and is enhanced by beautiful stained glass by Shona McInnes. St Joseph’s is intimately connected to the global Catholic Church, with a shared liturgy and 2000 year spiritual and intellectual heritage which is reflected in our architecture and is drawn out as a theme in our stained glass. We are delighted to open our Church outside the usual times of liturgy for anyone to visit for a quiet time of reflection, and to walk round our Church viewing our statues and stained glass (with an accompanying information sheet). Volunteers will be available to assist or answer questions.
