Overview

In the middle of the woods, on the edge of the Rance valley, a Henri IV castle, rebuilt on the ruins of a fortified castle and enlarged at the end of the 18th century. Park 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, castle, chapel, common. Façades and roofs of the castle and the pavilion adjoining it, the chapel and the building of the commons transformed into greenhouses. Secular trees, yew classified as a remarkable tree, great 17th century charm. Terraced gardens on the edge of the La Rance valley. Boxwood, topiary, many rhododendrons and old roses, ponds, pond. Remarkable young trees including a "wollemi pine".
