Acquired in co-ownership by the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels (CEN) of Midi-Pyrénées and the CPIE Pays Gersois, this space is located in the commune of Auch, near the industrial area of Engachies. Composed of cliffs, limestone rocks, thickets, ruts, perennial or temporary pools and different kinds of lawns, the former quarry of Auch – Saint-Cricq welcomes a rich biodiversity, specific and often protected, which is the subject of several studies and inventories integrated into a management plan. Recently created, two paths, embellished with educational panels, allow visitors to better understand the interests of this site.
