Join the Wicklow Wanders on Thursday, 22nd August, for an invigorating 6 km evening hike up Church Mountain as part of Heritage Week, celebrating the theme of connection. The Wicklow Wanderers are a local hiking group who began with the idea of connection on our mountains. Starting from the agreed car park, this hike takes approximately 2 hours, covering 6 km with an ascent of 300 m. The route begins with a 2 km trek through forestry trails before opening up to the mountain, where a short hike leads to the summit and the ruins of an ancient church. Enjoy breathtaking views and a potential sunset before descending the same path back.

Those without a booking will be turned away. Spaces are not guaranteed as there is a limit of participants, to ensure safety and quality.
