The El Pobal Forge extends its vocation as a living museum to include the workshop of a traditional trade closely linked to the figure of Delmas lithographer: the engraver. The main purpose of this workshop is to make known the history and techniques of engraving and to experience the possibilities offered by different materials and utensils typical of the graphic arts.

The type of engraving that Delmas cultivated was lithography, which became the quintessential way of illustrating newspapers, magazines and billboards before the appearance of the
photography.

The workshop by Ana Prestamero and Javier Gandarillas will allow us to see live and step by step, the realization of an engraving with a different printing, intaglio. And for this they will take as a model
our emblematic hydraulic wheel, the one that moves the iron mallet of El Pobal
