On the occasion of marking the European Heritage Days, the Croatian Ethnological Society organizes a professional excursion to Turopolje during which participants will have the opportunity to view selected objects of traditional architecture in this area with special emphasis on those buildings that have recently been renovated under professional conservation conditions and advice from ethnology conservators. The goal of the excursion is to highlight the importance of preserving architectural heritage as part of broader cultural heritage and to show successful examples of its protection and renovation in contemporary context.
