The Transport for Ireland Local Link Service is part of The Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan which is a major national transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority, with the aim of increasing connectivity and a sustainable method of travel, particularly for people living outside major cities and towns.
As this year's theme of National Heritage Week is based on Connections, Routes and Networks, the OPW want to incentivise visitors to use the Local link to access many of our OPW sites and Ennis Friary is happy to participate with this initiative to give free admission to visitors who take this service during Heritage Week from Monday Aug 19th to Friday Aug 23rd.
