Nine centuries of history: come discover the rich past of the Commanderie in Strasbourg! The National Institute of Public Service (INSP), formerly National School of Administration (ENA), opens its doors to you on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025! Marsh, convent, hospital, prison, large school: the Commanderie Saint-Jean, a vast building next to the Museum of Modern Art in Strasbourg, the covered bridges and the Vauban dam, is rich in nine centuries of... turbulent history! On the program:

• Guided tours of the premises and exchanges with INSP students
• Climate walks and games with the Climate Agency On Saturday, September 20, the Climate Agency Strasbourg invites you to a walk to make you discover in a concrete way the challenges of managing old buildings and urban overheating. Participate in a one-hour walk and discover the INSP and its neighborhood from the perspective of biodiversity and ecological transition and ancient buildings. 2 slots at 14h and 15h30 are available, with a maximum of 15 participants per slot. Register here The teams will also hold an awareness booth on ecological transition, where you can participate in themed games.
• Awareness of selective sorting and waste reduction with the French network of social, solidarity-based and ecological economy Elise. From 10am to 1pm, without registration.
• Workshops "Cultivons notre avenir" In connection with the 2tonnes association, INSP offers educational workshops on ecological awareness, accessible to all visitors in a fun, participatory and unifying way. These 45-minute workshops, accessible without registration, composed of interactive quizzes conducted in groups, allow to become aware of the most effective means of action to reduce one’s carbon footprint, and to make people want to act at their scale, with their means!
