The Donegal Historical Society are hosting a talk on the history of the Ards Pensinula, with reference to the history of its landlord families, the Wrays (1700-1782), the Stewarts (1782-1926) and the coming of the Capuchins (1930) to the building of the Friary and Church (1966). All of these events have contributed to the social and economical development of the area. The guide is local historian Charlie Gallagher.
