Temporary exhibition "When the image sheds light on the past: archaeological restitution"

Excisum rises in the 1st century AD, on the site of the current district of Eysses. Located on a major road step, the town developed until the 3rd century around a monumental complex, artisan quarters and a military camp. This important archaeological site has been known since the 17th century. Excavations were organized in the 1970s and 1980s.
