Overview
The Arlington Baths Club is the oldest member-run swimming pool in Europe. Our Category 'A' listed building houses a skylit swimming pool and a magnificent Turkish Bath, Glasgow's homage to The Alhambra. This Victorian bathing complex was constructed over several decades by eminent architects of the time, expanding and changing as the city of Glasgow grew. Our ever-changing membership has always reflected our cosmopolitan city during the last 155 years. On the tours you will learn more about our building and community and hear some of the stories of members and visitors.
Parking is limited and metered.
Our building tour is over two levels and sadly does not have a lift.
To enter the building, there is a short set of steps from the street and during the tour there are 2 stairways to negotiate, one up and one down.
Water bottles can be refilled.
