Heritage Week runs from the 16th-24th August this year and the theme is 'Exploring Our Foundations'. Here at Parke’s Castle, we are hosting an illustrated talk on “The Castles of Ireland” by Dr. Kieran O’Conor on Wednesday August 20th at 2pm. Dr. O’ Conor is one of Ireland’s foremost authorities on late medieval history and archaeology.
