Talk and presentation Peter Ward has a lifetime of experience with Irish food, home grown produce and elevating dishes with simple produce. Peter is well known for running a very successful business here in Nenagh, County Choice. Country Choice was established in 1982 by Peter & Mary Ward, it is an award-winning independent artisan food shop and delicatessen. In 2024, Peter & Mary won the Irish Food Writers’ Guide Food Award for Lifetime Achievement, a very special award. We are delighted to welcome Peter to Nenagh Heritage Centre during Heritage Week to talk to us about Irish produce, seasonal ingredients and how to make brown bread in an easy and memorable way.
