The Gordon Highlanders Museum
6 September 2025 (10:00 - 12:00) The Gordon Highlanders Museum is multi-award winning 5-star Visit Scotland Museum and Visitor Attraction in the west end of Aberdeen, recently voted The Best Visitor Attraction in Aberdeen and the North East at The Aberdeen City and Shire Thistle Awards. King Charles is The Gordon Highlanders Museum Patron and has a great knowledge and interest in The Regiment and The Museum. There is a mini-figure hunt to help introduce history to young children. Within the grounds there is full size WW1 replica trench giving visitors the opportunity to wander through and explore what it might have been like for the soldiers serving in the trenches of World War 1. The Museum has an extremely popular Garden Cafe, gift shop, excellent conference and events space as well as a beautiful south facing walled Victorian Garden. An audio tour is offered in nine different languages with guides available to answer questions.
