The John O'Groats Mill not-for-profit heritage visitor attraction and community venue, just a stones throw away from the iconic John O’Groats signpost.
Built in 1901, operated until 2001, and opened as a museum in 2025, the John O’Groats Mill is the last working water-powered grain mill in Caithness.
We do not have a cafe but do have a coffee machine and indoor and outdoor seating. Picnics and packed lunches are welcomed and encouraged on the premises.
