Overview
Kapelleveld garden city is home to a number of garden cities, the result of an idea that originated in England at a time when many families were being rehoused after the First World War. They were often built in a regional English cottage style, but the Kapelleveld estate (1923-1926) was built in the modernist style by two leading architects of this movement: Huib Hoste and Antoine Pompe. In collaboration with Arkadia. With the support of the Municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.
