Founded in 1783 and officially chartered in 1784, it’s the oldest Masonic Lodge in the Province of Aberdeenshire West, with meeting records dating back to 1790. The current building at 22 High Street was constructed in 1881, with a major extension added in 1902 to accommodate its growing membership.
