This history talk, which will be given by local historian Fr Liam Kelly, will be about three different Mass rocks on Sliabh an Iarainn mountain - Cloch an tSagart and Cloch na hAltóra Mass Rocks in Ballinaglera parish and An Teampall Mass Rock in Kiltubrid parish. The illustrated talk will describe how the mountain was used as a place of refuge and a place of worship in Penal times.
