The Meir District in Anderlecht
Overview
In the 1920s, an entire residential district was built on the edge of Astrid Park. Taken as a whole, it is a rather coherent architectural ensemble. It was designed for the middle class, and single-family homes predominate. This is an opportunity to discover the ornate facades, the play of materials and colours and the renowned architects of the time, such as Brunfaut, Van Meulecom and Courtens. In collaboration with Bruxelles Bavard.
