Moville Community Complex Development Company invites you to experience the delights of Moville’s built and natural heritage during The Moville Heritage Experience IV - Reading the Waterscape!

Meet at St Eugene's Hall where we head off for a real treat - something completely unique.

See Moville's spectacular waterscape through the lenses of cultural heritage, archaeology and medieval history.

Open to all ages and backgrounds, learn about this special coastal town's watery heritage during this interactive easy grade walk and talk led by two of the country's foremost historians and heritage experts:

Accompanied by two of Ireland's heritage giants, this is a golden opportunity to learn to read deeply the waterscape of Moville.

This event is #4 of 6 guided walking experiences on offer in Moville and environs, throughout Saturday 24th August, as part of Heritage Week.

Depending on your curiosity and energy levels, you are free to participate in up to 3 of these.

Numbers are strictly limited.

To secure your place please register in advance for each walk, separately, on Eventbrite.

Please gather at St Eugene's Hall, Moville, by 12:15pm for the 12:30pm shuttle bus departure to our start point.

To avoid congestion, we ask that you, please, do NOT park at Lafferty's Lane car park.

This is an easy grade walk covering approximately 2km.

Please DO bring your own water bottle AND come prepared for the forecasted weather, wearing comfy walking shoes.

We will not have access to public toilets in the course of this walk.
