The Rhône at the heart of our history
The seventies begin(prime) a decisive turning point in the fluvial historie of Valencia(Valence). The Chamber of commerce conceives(designs) in collaboration with the national Company of the Rhône, SEDRO (Company(Society) of Equipment of the Drôme) and the city of Portes-lès-Valence, a large project of industrial and harbour arrangement(development) downstream from Valencia(Valence). The arrangement(development) of a real pleasure river port accompanies project. Under dealer of the CNR for exploitation(operation) and management of the site, CCI of the Drôme is the master of work of the marina. The first works of arrangement(development) begin in 1973 and ends in 1978\\. On May 12th, 1979, the common unveiling of the port(bearing) of business(trade) and of the marina marks the revival of ancient links between Valencia(Valence) and its river. The creation of a landing stage CNR to passengers, the progressive arrangement(development) of green areas as well as a voluntarist politics(policy) in favour of an environmental quality led in the nineties make of the port(bearing) of Epervière one of the most delightful fluvial marinas. The zone of fairing intended(designed) for interview(maintenance) and for repair of boats answers one very high level of technicality and of quality of equipments, the port(bearing) is certified for all jobs(businesses) ISO 9001 for the 1st time in 2000 and in the version 2015 since 2018\\. Exploitation(Operation) and long-lasting(sustainable) use of the site, included into a preserved environmental space, allowed the marina 1 to obtain also ISO certification 14001 in 2010 and the blue Detached house(Flag) since 2005\\. This ecolabel leans on quality criteria environnentale strict as for the management of the site, of water and of environment(middle), allowing to register the site in a logic of long-lasting(sustainable) tourism. Ideally located between Lyons and the Mediterranean Sea, the port(bearing) Henry Raymond is the biggest(greatest) pleasure river port in France with 420 moorings on dike and 60 places(squares) on the area of fairing today.
