Our event is a display of 3D reconstructions of several interesting local places in "The Routes to Our Past", which includes Castlemartin, New Abbey, Harristown, Old Kilcullen, Ballyshannon and Jigginstown in Naas. There will also be two talks, on the history of Castelmartin and New Abbey, by Dr Michael O'Connell, who has studied these places and created the displays to illustrate his talks. The talks will be on Monday, August 19 (Castlemartin Revisited) and Thursday August 22 (New Abbey, New Thoughts), both from 8 - 9:30 pm. All the models will be on display on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 2-4.
