6 September 2025 (10:00 - 16:00) Founded more than a century ago, the Rowett Institute carries out pioneering nutrition-based scientific research in its own striking, purpose-built laboratories on Aberdeen’s Foresterhill Health Campus. Incorporated into the modern, sustainable building can be found stained glass windows and other historic gems brought from the institute’s original site in Bucksburn – which is now the home of the TECA exhibition centre. A number of our research teams will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about their latest research into areas such as how we grow and eat healthier and more sustainable diets. There will be regular guided tours of parts of the building not usually open to the public
