You are warmly welcome to visit Alexander 'Greek' Thomson’s only civic structure. Volunteers will guide you around the Steps, the wall, and the wildlife garden, highlighting Thomson’s unique design features. Using fascinating old photographs, they’ll also explain the vital role this structure played in shaping North Kelvinside’s development.

Overview:
An immense retaining wall with a fine sweeping flight of steps stands overlooking the Kelvin Valley. The wildlife garden at the top of the wall affords views of the weir on the river through a pillared viewing point known as the Belle Vue.
Residents’ parking only.
Bike parking is on-street only.
The areas round the wall and the top and bottom of the Steps are all accessible. There are 7 fairly steep steps down to the garden.
