Overview

Unpublished exhibition of the photographer Philippe Reynaud. At the Usine Étoile, architecture is not only to be visited: it is felt. This former industrial site, which has also become a place where 'Art and Economy' are tutoted, hosts an exhibition as powerful as it is delicate by the photographer Philippe Reynaud, a photographic face-to-face in black and white around the tauréo (the gestural and clothing art of the bullfighter). Neither tribute, nor indictment; just a look. An aesthetic, graphic, almost architectural look at this ancient ritual where tensions, movements, silences and outbursts intersect. Here, bodies draw space, gestures become structures, the arena a scene of contrasts. In mirror of the Star Factory itself, made of clear lines and inhabited shadows. Two territories that intertwine, around the beauty of the lyrical gesture, whether guided by the brush or the lens. Two approaches that question our relationship to gesture, matter, emotion. Two worlds, the same intensity. Visitors will have the privilege of discussing with the artist who will present his own works after a first exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery in Paris. Informations Guided tours lasting from 1h to 1h30\. Price of 5€ per person for the benefit of the association Usine Étoile. E-mail usine.etoile@gmail.com
