An entertaining way to get to know the history and heritage of the VQ, the scavenger hunt is a fun, team-based event run live through WhatsApp, taking participants on a clue-solving adventure of discovery around The VQ. How it Works: - The group is split into teams (usually 3–4 people per team). - Each team receives a unique set of clues. - The scavenger hunt is fully managed in real time on WhatsApp. Each team is added to their own WhatsApp group, where they receive their clues. - A few shared clues are included to keep energy up and add a bit of friendly competition. - The clues lead teams to a mix of well-known landmarks, hidden corners, and quirky points of interest in The VQ. - There are some task-based clues, such as speaking Irish or visiting a specific shop or bar. - Local knowledge helps, but the use of Google and Google Maps is allowed. - Fastest team wins! Practical Info: Duration: approx. 90 minutes to 2 hours Starting Point: Harley’s St., The VQ, Cork End Point: The final clue will take you there! Group size: Minimum 12 people (max 30 places) *Participants will be organised into teams for the Scavenger Hunt.
