The former Forte House of Monbalen has passed through the centuries and the torments of history since the Middle Ages. The site now includes a house and various outbuildings. Since 2019, a Les Transitions Cooperative Factory has been born there. It is a third location in rural areas, simply a link factory. It is an experimental space that invents an ecosystem of projects and initiatives with high social and cultural value. The Strong House is an environment conducive to work in cooperation, to deposit the known to invent sustainable alternatives. The Forte House is an incubator of projects, a place of crossed dynamics, a place of impulses. We are working on a cultural project, synergy of agricultural micro-projects, social innovation, shared workshops, holidays, etc.
