Overview

The village church houses a small museum that testifies to excavations carried out in the 80s on this very ancient site of occupation. The current church was built in the 1880s in the neo-Romanesque style on the site of the previous one, a simple chapel with a bell tower wall of Lauragais but according to a different orientation and inspired by the Saint-Sernin church of Toulouse. The bell tower, now illuminated, highlights this resemblance. The church is located on a very old site of occupation where excavations were carried out in the 80s. Testimonies of these excavations have been exhibited since in a sacristy of the church which serves as a small museum. It was renovated by a team of communal volunteers in 2016. Informations Free.
