Overview
Discover the old Italian-style theater, located in the grounds of the Convent of the Augustinian Ladies. This theater, inaugurated in 1828, was restored between 1851 and 1893 by Gaston Save, known for his stuccoes and its magnificent painted ceiling. Protected as a historical monument, it offers a capacity of 145 places spread over two floors. In 1925, the theatre began a new era with the advent of cinema, which would take over until it closed in September 2018. Its walls have witnessed numerous shows and significant events, offering a captivating immersion in the cultural past of the city.
