The Tinahely Heritage Market Day harks back to a time when the Market Square was the site of weekly sales, a hub for people from all directions, to meet, buy and sell. We want to recreate that experience for the younger generation, reflecting the importance of the town as a convergence point.

Taking place on Saturday 17 August 2024 from 12 noon to 5pm, at the very start of Heritage Week, we have a jam packed schedule of events on the Square, Tinahely Library and the grounds of the Courthouse Arts Centre. There will be market stalls, showcasing our finest local producers, food, craft demonstrations, vintage children's activities, story telling, vintage dress up, music and some wonderful heritage displays.

All are welcome to this free, fun family day out to celebrate Tinahely as an historic market town.
