Tours of Cappoquin House and Gardens
Cappoquin House stands high above the town of Cappoquin, affording superb views straight down the tidal valley of the River Blackwater as it flows to meet the sea at Youghal. Cappoquin has been home to the Keane family since 1735. The current classical Georgian-style house was rebuilt between 1925 and 1930. Five acres of well-laid out gardens also offer beautiful vistas.
