Tours of Dublin Civic Trust Collections at 18 Ormond Quay Upper
This event marks Heritage Week 2024 with two free public tours of some of the collections assembled over thirty years by Dublin Civic Trust consisting of maps, drawings and photographs depicting aspects of Dublin's rich built and architectural heritage.
Attendees will get the chance to learn about the evolution of Dublin city and its buildings through this archival material, laid out in the historic 1840s rooms of 18 Ormond Quay Upper. Places are limited on each hour-long tour in the morning and afternoon - booking is essential. Follow the booking link on this page.
TOUR TIMES: 11AM + 3PM
The Trust's material is being professionally surveyed and audited during 2024 by Archives Ireland thanks to a Community Heritage Grant from The Heritage Council.
Attendees may make a suggested donation of €5 on the day to support the work of Dublin Civic Trust. Tour starts in the ground floor shop at 18 Ormond Quay Upper.
