We are organising a race in Dun Laoghaire Harbour to celebrate the heritage of our tradional East Coast Skiffs. This type of boat has been rowed on the East Coast for over 100 years. We are organising a race for the youths of the club against the local Sea Scouts, who also row Skiffs. The Cup for the winner is a rowing cup recently found by the heritage dept. And is 80 years old. We want to keep the tradition of racing Skiffs in Dun Laoghaire Harbour and hopefully we can make it an annual event. Sat 23rd August. Viewing from the Band stand on the East pier Dun Laoghaire
