Installed(Settled) in a beautiful mansion of the XVIIIth century, the museum bears the name of the local erudite person, Louis Charbonneau-Lassay (1871-1946) who contributed to the knowledge of the history(story) of Loudun. Collections, arranged just like a cabinet(office) of curiosity, treat with the rich past of the city and its famous personalities.
