The archaeological material science has been developing for a number of years as an independent discipline in analyses and interpretation of the archaeological material. Dr. sc. Maja Miše (University College London, Institute of Archaeology) will present the analytical methods used when analysing the composition of ceramic, such as ceramic petrography, mineral and chemical analyses and interpretation of their results in the archaeological context.
