Villas du Cap d'Antibes: 150 years of dreams and stones
Nathalie Aguado is an author and lecturer, passionate about the history of Cap d'Antibes and its architectural heritage. She is the author of the historical work Secrets des villas du Cap d'Antibes, published in 2023 by Éditions Akinomé. As part of the European Heritage Days 2025, she presents a conference entitled: «Windows on the Cap d'Antibes: 150 years of dreams and stones». Through some emblematic villas of Cape Town, this conference offers a journey back in time to capture the extraordinary architectural eclecticism of the peninsula. From the first wintering villa built in 1865 to modern houses by the sea, each house evokes a unique story—that of a dream, an era, a style.
