Overview

The chapel Saint-Wendelin was built in 1666 by way of thanks in protection against the epidemic of plague which clamps down at these times(weathers). Stations(Resorts) in sandstone of Vosges of the Way of the Cross(long, hard way), dating the XVIIIth century, are arranged during the path(way) leading(driving) to the chapel. They are due to the initiative of the priest Michel Adam. The calcareous hill of Gœftberg is listed in the National Inventory of the Natural heritage and listed(classified) Wilderness area of Ecological Interest, Faunisitique and Floral (ZNIEFF).
Access
Stationnements au centre du village. A partir de la Place de la Maire prendre, à pied, la Rue des Pierres puis tourner à gauche et longer la Rue du Vignoble et monter à droite en prenant le Chemin de Croix.
