Overview

The Vittel racecourse is an integral part of the history of the Vosges thermal city. A natural panorama, from the 1900 stands classified as Historic Monuments, that is why the Vittel racecourse is also called the Deauville de l'Est. It was in July 1904 that the racecourse of Vittel was born, thanks to the Société Générale des Eaux Minérales de Vittel and under the impulse of its president of the time: Jean Bouloumié. The racecourse has been listed as a Historic Monument since a decree of 22 November 1990.
